Ok, haven't posted in a while

It's been difficult to find the time to actually keep up with a blog. My regular job takes up 11 hours of my day & I usually don't feel like it when I get home. We have managed to get a decent garden going (luckily, it's very low maintenance). We did make a video of us planting, but it accidentally got taped over. Oops! I think we taped some porn over it... DOH! Anyways, The garden looks great! We've got radishes, tomatoes, green beans, habaneros, jalepenos, carrots, corn, spinach, lettuce, eggplant, squash, & collard greens (I'm probably forgetting something). Maybe I'll take some pictures of our kick ass garden & post them here. I can't guarantee anything... I have WAY more things that I want to do than I do time & it kinda sucks. Sometimes, I think about saying "Fuck it!" & quitting my job, but it tough enough to survive with the job. I've got back-up money now, but I don't want to mess with it too much. We're not completely self sufficient yet & we need some decent income before I can quit. We've been trying to make money doing amateur porn, which has gotten us some money, but not very much... I've got some ideas to step up our porn business, but we can't do very much til' the fall. I will confess, we have been slacking on making new stuff the past month or so. Shame on us! Anyways, we got a screen press too, we're gonna start rockin' that as well. This weekend, we're building a shed to do our screen printing in. Hopefully, all goes well & we make some bank. Part of being self-sufficient includes making money for yourself (unfortunately, its necessary). Fuck it, if we NEED money, I would rather do shit that I enjoy. Porn is mad fun to make & t-shirts seem pretty fun too, even though we fucked up our first trial... Doh! Trial & error I guess. Anyways, the goal is to quit my crappy job by the end of the year.

This weekend's projects

This weekend's gonna be a doosie! I'm gonna be busy as hell... Cherry & I are starting a vegetable garden! This may be a little tricky, as we have an exteremely limited budget, sandy soil, very little knowlage of gardening, & only a few days to pull it off. Also, I have some homebrew to bottle & some to transfer from the primary fermentor to the secondary fermentor. Soon I will post some shit about homebrewing & how to do it. I may even make some videos. I have a ton of other ideas for future blogs, but right now... I just finished fixing my crappy pc, I'm tired, I have a buzz, & I'm ready for bed. I'll keep ya'll updated.

Welcome to my blog

Like most of you reading this, I seem to be stuck in the rat race. I work a 9-5 office job, spend 3 hours a day commuting, & barely scrape by (even though I have been at the job 13 years & should be making more money). Most of my money goes to bills, putting gas in the car, fixing & maintaining the car, taxes, & food. Usually there isn't much left for myself. Usually, I am juggling utility bills in order to have a little spending money ("How close to shut off am I??")& to make sure to have a little extra cash in hand in case something goes wrong (like the car breaking down or anything like that). Lately, I have been re-thinking my situation. I'm realizing that what I'm doing is a bunch of bullsh*t. What I need to do is get back to the land... get back to nature... get out of this crappy job... live like humans are supposed to live. How exactly is a guy like me going to do this? By taking small steps toward self-sustainability, which I am going to document every step of the way. That is the point of this blog & hopefully, I can inspire some of you to do the same. Anyways, I'm late for work (as usual) & not even dressed yet, so I suppose I have to go feed the machine.
Cheers!
